Default How do I determine how much wheel gap will be taken up w/ 295/35?

Hey guys,

Some of you may remember I posted recently about a 305 tire (which I am not using).

I have an 18"x9.5" rim in the rear, I desperately need new tires so I'm looking at the Goodrich G-Force KDW-2s.

The sizes I am considering are the 285/30 and the 295/35s.

My car is lowered on H&R springs and the rear fenders are rolled.

How much more could I expect the height of the tire to change with the 295/35s? Will it look like a wanna be drag tire in the rear? haha

Still learning about tires, so I appreciate your help.

For one, I wouldn't run a 295 on a 9.5" wheel, and secondly this is what it will look like:

I am lowered on strano springs.

Looks good! Nice rims, too

Thanks for posting the pic. I'll hopefully post some pics of whichever set up I decide to go with, that is, if LS1 Tech will let me load my freaking pics withoug giving a window saying it could not load the page

Do not go with a 285/30R18. That's too thin for the rear. Here, use discount tire's calculator:

I'm thinking about getting the KDW2s for my 19" Ruff 278s. How have they been since you have had them for a bit now?
