That 3rd gen was pathetic! Why did he lose so badly? I understand the new 5.0's move, but a cammed/bolt on LS1 3rd gen should be a low 12 to high 11 car all day. No excuse to lose that bad.
Good vid otherwise, although I HATE vids with a seperate chase car. Can't even tell whats going on. Vids are way better with the camera man in one of the cars racing.
EDIT: Just saw 3rd gens mods....get some damn 4.10's and longtubes on that thing so it can breathe and rev and it'll be a different outcome. Hes got a crappy setup for that cam!

Did anyone else notice "RED DEAD REVOVLER" instead of "revolver?"
Nice video though, even not being able to tell much about much from way back there(minus the MB recordings) and the lack of camera focus. Some pretty strong runners in that one.

MIne made 414/404 with original 3.73 gears with a tune/cold air/axle backs.

There is a local guy that has a 3rd Gen swapped with a Cam Only LS1 and his runs the same times as another local that has a bolt on new 5.0; so the 3rd Gen more than likely isn't running right.

Can't run shorty's on an engine that even with a stock cam sees big gains from longtubes. I love the 5.0's...ford did it right this time for sure, but that 3rd gen made me cry haha. I'm sure those 3.50 gears aren't the best for a decent sized cam either, especially for a 6 speed car.
