Default Intake manifolds!!!

What is the best aftermarket or gm intake manifold that gives you the best amount of horsepower. Im looking at the lsx 102mm intake with 102bigmouth throttle body. Does this fit ls1??? And what else do i need for full installation?

You should get a Weiand Street Warrior Intake, it's the best intake never made for the LS1!

Details are overwhelming.

An LS6 intake is perfectly adequate for stock internals and mild cam cars. Unless you have a chunky cam and good heads, the 102mm is a waste of money.

If it was me I would put my attention to the exhaust, longtubes and y pipe. But to answer your question an LS6 intake will be fine since your keeping the stock heads, cam, etc. You can use your stock fuel rails just might need some intake gaskets.

These guys are just giving you a hard time. I've been known to do it myself from time to time.

To answer your question a LS6 intake would be fine. You can reuse your fuel lines and injectors. You will however have to modify the bottom of the intake to accept the LS1 steam tubes OR replace them with the later style that deletes the tube in the rear but there is another way around that.

Is sounds like your car is pretty much stock for time being. A LS6 intake is a good upgrade. If you continue to mod exhaust should probably be looked at.

If you are going to be going heads and cam in the near future you might consider a FAST intake but if you aren't I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes you can put a FAST 92 or 102 on a stock engine and pick up some power. However the gains are not worth the cost. There's other things you can throw money at that will net you more gains than a FAST intake.
