c6 ZO6 vs 03/04 cobra z06 mods- intake headers exhaust

So im driving on my way back home, when i see what appears to be a 03/04 cobra convertible turn in front of me a few 100 feet ahead. I speed up to catch up and apoaching a stop signwhat do i see, the tags on the cobra reads CYA VETT?!?! I was like F that I reved my car to redline to let him know he better be ready to back that up! At that point i see him look at his rearview mirror to see what just reved
as we turn at the intersection there is a car in front of him and hes going slow, about 30 in a 40 he lets the car in front of him get ahead a bit for a few seconds and then he just lays on it, i was in second gear and hammer it as well, half way through 2nd i stop his pull, and at the top of second nearing redline i had to lay off the throttle as i was at his back bumper. We drive down a bit and turn at 4 lane road, perfect!
there is a car a few 100 feet ahead i pull next to him going 30 in 1st and yell to him "so see ya vette huh" he nods then puts up 3 fingers i nod back and he counts off with his fingers 1,2,3 and we both hit it, Im spinning bad bad all of 1st gear but i still manage to creep about 1/2 car ahead, i rip second catch traction and start to pull, i notice he lets off when i hit about 80 and hes about 1 1/2 cars back. i slow back down to about 45 and put her in second hoping i can whoop on him some more. he gets next to me and says i was spinning and I responded with i was too, and then he goes ooh, well see ya. I punch it a bit hoping he would run again and he just stays back, we get up to the next light and hes like nice car and we exchange mods and then he asks how fast my car is, i was like i went 11.6 at 123 bone stock and right now about 127ish trap speed wise modded. He responds with "no wonder i only went 11.9s with how the car is right now" and again says take it easy and your car sounds awesome! the light changes and he just hangs back. I turn at the next light, thinking he should really change his plates to VETT SIR!

I like his plate too, it made it that much sweeter when i did beat him! But come on to have a plate like that you need to much faster than an 11.9.

Ran up on a c5 while headed to the track one night. Plate read cya bye. i had 2 more buddies in the car and we just all started laughing since we knew what was coming
I just waved him to go and from 45-95 I put around 3 on him.. With my cutout closed and nobody in his car. It was a manual with probably full exhaust and maybe intake.
With a plate like that I would expect minimum 500rw.
