Default did these cheap headers hurt my valves?

The damn egr delete plate broke off today. So I limped home at below 2 grand. I probly drove about 4 miles do you think I did damage to the valves?

It looks like about a golf ball sized hole maybe an inch and half from the head.

Wow, not sure if it would damage the valves, but what kind of LT's are these?

My hedman headers that came on my car had a crack developing at the air pump fitting. Ended up deleting the fittings and patched the header with thin sheet metal. A buddy just bought some ebay headers and we sliced the emission fittings off before installing them. No sense in getting burned twice. I currently have LPP Stainless headers and they are emissions free which is nice.

Doubtful you hurt anything, IIRC there was a thread on here where a couple guys had messed around and ran an engine with no manifolds/headers.

You're probably fine but if it worries you that much do a compression test. A warped valve will show up pretty quickly

I think valves getting burned due to exhaust leaks or too short of exhaust piping is a thing of the past. I haven't even heard about that in so many years I actually forgot about it.

I wouldn't worry about it, patch it and go on. But if it burned a valve it would run like **** and misfire.
