Just picked up an 01' Camaro Z28! That's right 
My boyfriend and i just picked up an 01' black Z28 to start as a build for our shop Double D Tuning. We are really excited and have lots of big plans. Darin did a ton of stuff with his 6 speed Supra as well as holding the 6 speed record for a while there and we are excited to test out the limits of what we can do with the T56. I will probably start a build thread here soon but for now here are some pics of how we picked her up.
I went ahead and tagged it with the shop sticker, haha.

Looking foward to the build. Ive been watching Darin's car for a while now. Im not sure what the LSx T56 record is, but the LTx record is 8.97 Held by Taner on here.

ill prob do some passes but i still have my car and so i still have lots to accomplish with it. since Darin sold his supra he needs a race toy. hes got the ISF and now this, so plenty to play with and hopefully do something fast and different ya know? Everyone swaps in an auto and calls it a day. we've seen Tanners vids and wanna know what we can do

Plans right now are to do an iron block 408, F1R procharger, and some spray. I'd like to make around 1100, and hopefully crack 8s with the T56. I know the T56's are pretty weak, compared to the Getrag 6 speed that come in the supras, but at least there are options out there to upgrade the internals on the T56.
I'm excited to have a camaro again! I loved my 95 Z28 that I had about 9 years ago and always knew I'd get another one someday
