compression
their catalog shows anywhere from 10.25 to 10.4 with a 61cc head. i am thinking with a 71cc head like the 317's i should be around 9.0 which should be perfect for some high boost. i would leave it stock on the bottom but i would like to get a little more rpm out of the motor. that's why i want a good set of rods and pistons..i would like to rev it to 7k if needed from time to time..i figured with an 88 it should be a fun ride thanks Bob

I rev my stock rod/piston short block to 7k every pass at the track. It has mellings hv oil pump and clevite77 rod bearings and arp rod bolts. It made 665rwhp 582ftlbs @15psi on a 76mm Turbo. Heads have never been off the block.
