Default I didn't know they made 0.021" head gaskets!

Currently I have Mr. Gasket 0.026" but since I totally fubar'd the assembly I might actually try these. Thoughts?

Edit:
O-ring of the block or heads is required
LOL. It's always something. Ok so anyone want to shoot me a link for anyone that sells 0.026" gaskets? Summit seems to be out of stock on them. Thanx

Truthfully you can get gaskets made in just about any thickness. Running the popular .028" gaskets won't make a difference. Those two thousandths of an inch won't make or break your setup.

But it's starting to break my wallet. $98 for these gaskets plus the cost to o-ring the heads = just not worth it for this street setup.

Plus I just broke a rear main seal bolt. So now I'm really not in the mood to spend another dime on this unless it's absolutely necessary.

I ran some SCE coppers last year, leaked coolant like crazy. Used the copper spray adhesive and everything. Also, SCE claimed my gaskets had the steel wire in the head gasket (so O rings weren't needed), they weren't. I hated those things. Since then i've used Felpro 1074s, been pretty good so far, not sure about the thickness tho, probably too thick for what you want.

Like I said, just get the normal Felpro .028" gaskets everyone uses SUCCESSFULLY. Those .002" will not make a difference.

There was a thread on this when I did mine. Should be easy to find. I found some .016" but NOT for Aluminum heads. I ended up with HP gaskets from Chevy. If you need the part number, I can come up with it.
