Exclamation OBD-II PID for Torque (Android)

Have an '01 LS1 Camaro PCM. Looking for the correct PID/equation info for Knock Retard. The ones included with Torque don't seem to work correctly.

Example:
PID:2211a6 Unit: Deg. Max/Min: 50.0/0.0
Equation: (22.5*1)/256

I am also looking for the PIDS for torque. I haven't used mine yet. I just received it a day ago and am going to go out tonight to test it out. What already works out of the box on it and what do you need to program? Mine is a 1998 Trans Am. I already have hp tuners, but wanted to try this to see how accurate it was.

Another thing to try is the app called "TorqueScan". It's a plugin for Torque. I couldn't get it to work, but maybe you guys can.

Not really, knock retard isn't an SAE pid, you get what you pay for when it comes to a good scanner

Torque has GM specific PIDs, but the three different knock sensor PIDs they show don't work. It allows you to enter custom PIDs if you have the right info. Im guessing address and equation.

I have HP Tuners I just hate having to lug my 17 inch notebook around along with the cigarette plug in adapter so my battery doesn't go dead.

Has anybody tried this? It's supposed to scan and discover PIDs for your car...

If you have HP Tuners VCM Suite , you don't need the laptop to log. You just drive and log with the box that's part of the cable. When you get home, download the log with your laptop and open it.

I have a 98 and torque pro and I have knock available. You have to get into the settings and add enhanced pids. (GM of course.) Then you get a ton of stuff. Trans PC solenoid, shift timings, ect ect ect...

A vid of Torque reading knock retard? My Torque KR levels are shown either like 5 at idle or -10 or something constant, and don't change. HPtuners reports no knock in same conditions. If it was working right, it should be at 0...
