I have a decent street car, nothing serious by any means. I wouldn't run for over 50$ myself.

I work to hard for my money to lose 500$ (Or 40-50 hours of work/one full week) in 10 seconds or less.

I wonder what was done to the trucks. I ran a supercharged jeep and lost from a dig and won from a roll.
