11.76 Seconds in the 1/4 mile on new build
The first trip to the track on my new build yielded a 7.46 @ 92. ***UPDATED*** 11.76@113.5 at Bradenton Motorsports Park. It seem to be pretty perfectly tuned right out of the box. Small changes in jetting and timing did not seem to affect the ET or MPH much at all. So, it must be close.

I just read in the stickies that I am supposed to say "what it took to get it done". So, here is my combo:
1965 Skylark hard top 3500 pound even with spare tire and full tank of gas
LQ9 used - 55k miles from junk yard
TSP LS6 Stage 1 CNC ported heads
Comp Cams XR275H12 camshaft 222/224 .566/.568 on 112 with 110 ICL
Performer RPM Intake manifold port matched to heads
Pro Systems custom carburetor 780 CFM
Doug's 1 3/4 long tube headers with 3" collector
3" full dual exhaust with X-pipe and Walker Super Turbo mufflers
TH200-4R transmission
Circle D 2b 245MM 3000 RPM stall converter
3.90 rear gears and eaton posi
All stock suspension with urethane bushing, boxed control arms and monroe-matic shocks
Mickey Thompson 275/60R15s @ 15 PSI

I went to Bradenton Motorsports Park today. Brutally hot. I got two runs in before the track went away. When I left the bracket racer next to me measure the track temperature at 135 degrees! Everyone was spinning. But here are the two clean passes I got off first:

You need to bring your Skylark over to PBIR some time so i can see it or next time i am over in Largo to visit my Parents maybe we can go to Tampa Dragway/Sunshine Speedway or The Wing house !
