Default 4.10 in a 10 bolt

I was just wondering if a set of 4.10 gears would fit in my stock 10 bolt. It has 2.73s in there now. any help would be appreciated

Yep, but you will need the thick cut 4.10s for a 2 series carrier.

since the ad doesn't state if they're 2 series or 3 series(probably 3 series),you'd have to PM the seller to find out. 2series required for your 2.73 carrier. Most 4.10s are ordered for 6 speeds which are 3 series carriers.

If the gears are meant for a 3 series carrier make sure to purchase a spacer for the ring gear to correctly install them into your 2 series carrier.

I would choose not to use a ring gear spacer. I would buy the correct gear for the application.

^Agreed if buying new definitely purchase the correct gear for your application. I was just stating that if he does decide to purchase a used set most likely they will be for a three series carrier and a spacer will be needed. The seller should be able to answer that question for him before purchase.
