Default LS1 Mustang on Spray *Video Inside*

This is my buddy's 86 Mustang hatch. Stock bottom end 5.3 motor with stock LS6 heads, mild cam, carb conversion, and a small nitrous plate kit. Here's a video of a few test passes followed by a small money grudge race against a 3rd gen camaro with an SBC on spray.

He's definitely happy with it. It still needs some tuning, but it's running good.

This is the 2nd LS powered fox we've had and I love how these motors run in a mustang. There's absolutely no reason why guys should be spending money to build stock block 302 based motors when they can grab a junkyard 5.3, do a cam, carb, and spray...and go way faster for way less money.

A typical Ford 331/347 bottom end alone costs more than this 5.3 carb to pan.

He grudge races the car here and there, no et's or mph's to post up. Sorry.

The shot is smaller than you'd likely guess.

AJE tubular chevy crossmember and a-arms up front, and I forget what is in back: stock style springs, basic shocks, and nothing special for control arms...I don't even think they're spherical bushings.

Just a budget th400 setup. No trans brake, manual valve body. Decent converter, nothing special.
