What's up guys, my names Josh, I'm 18, freshman in college, I live in Amarillo and I just purchased my first ls1 powered vehicle. Let's start off by saying it's SICK! I won't go back to any other vehicle now. After months of looking for the perfect, unmolested, non-kid owned Trans Am, I found a one owner, old lady owned (65), unmolested 2000 Trans Am WS6 bone stock besides flow master muffler with 82,000 miles on it for $8,000. So far I just have the red Pontiac emblem on the steering wheel and the Firebird on the Tach, but there's MANY more mods to come Not exactly sure where to put this if it doesn't belong here but feel free to move it and direct me around (I'm new here from the Ford forums ) Well here she is, just needs a good clean and wax, floor mats, and new Trans Am Firebird on the trunk and she's good to go!

The Patty Melts Back!

Welcome! Nice purchase, and very smart buying an unmolested example. I do have to question the prior ownership though. An older woman owning a WS6 is unusual to start with, but then to have a Flowmaster exhaust as well?? I bet if you did a little digging, someone other than 'grandma' was driving this car. Enjoy!!

Lol, exact same thing I was thinking, the title shows her being the original owner, she had her 15 year old grandson with her when she was selling it to me, maybe that's who's responsible?? It's not loud by any means though, in fact I just thought it was the low restriction exhaust that came stock on the WS6, but then I saw Flowmaster on the top of the muffler, who knows though. Maybe she was a cougar

WHATABURGER!!! I WANT SOME!!!

And welcome to LS1Tech.

Go to your user control panel and create a signature showing what car you have. This way, you won't need to tell everybody what it is in every post.

Thanks man! I'm about to place an order for some long tube headers and y pipe, then it's going to my local shop called Boost Performance in December for a dyne tune! And I still have tons of little questions, lol

Nice car. But please spend you money on HARDware under the hood and less on decals.

Haha, I have full intentions to bro, I'm about to order long tube headers w/ no cats and ORY, Borla cat-back, EGR and AIR delete kit, SLP air lid, and get it dyne tuned. As far as stall converters, throttle body's, intake manifolds, cams, etc I'm just leaving mine the way they are, I just want to do what's posted above, the car stock is gnarly fast to me, I just want a little more oomph out of it if your know what I mean. I'm still in college and money's a little tight so I can't go ***** out on it yet. But I'm loving it so far!

That's cool, I was looking for a low miler but the prices are crazy on them, a guy in my town's selling a WS6 with 12,000 miles on it for $21,000!
But for sure, the old lady owned are always the cleanest by far

Right on man, that's awesome, I'm looking to gain a bunch of knowledge on here from all the "old timers" lol, and I plan on getting black z06 wheels or torque thrust II's this summer so I'll probably go to 315's
