Best looking rim finish on black TA/Camaro?
Hey everyone!
I have a black '02 TA and am to the point where I'd like to get some aftermarket rims. At first I was really leaning towards an all black rim (no chrome lips, etc.) but the gun metal(dark grey) look is really starting to grow on me. Brennen's01SS has a very nice looking SS with some gun metal Z06 Spyders that look amazing. What is you guys' favorite rim finish on a black TA or Camaro? If you have pics of your black car with gun metal/dark grey/black chrome rims would you please post it for me? Thanks a lot!!

I'm with thunderstruk.. I love the all black look.. Since it's your car and your wheels.. And u wanna go with the gunmetal.. Do it.. That looks good too.. Do u have any other exterior stuff done to ur car? Maybe do some blackbird stripes in gunmetal or the ceta mod...

^^^x100! It does depend on the car if you're looking for a specific look. Middle of the road, "neutral" if you will, polished works all day.
I had polished for some time and decided to change things up a little. Still work in progress, but you get the idea.

LPE, that looks really good!!
You guys may be right, polished may be the way to go.
As you guys have mentioned, the gun metal will look better if it has something to kinda go along with it, but I don't have that "something". Tomorrow I am smoking my tail lights and side markers with VHT, so the gun metal may not go well with the "dark everything" look I'm going for.
I think it would be smart to shop around a bit longer. I've only been looking for 2 weeks and have already changed my mind 3 times haha. I've looked at almost a 100 cars on here looking for that look I want, and I'm still convinced that the one black TA with those matte black BMW (Miro 111) rims is what I want to shoot for.
Thanks for your input guys!!

Gun metal ZR1's
Polished TT2's
My personal opinion is to get a wheel with a painted finish. I hate polished wheels, no matter what you do they always need to be polished to continue to look great as a painted wheel can hide hard water spots, brake dust & dirt. So what ever wheel you choose keep that in mind.
