Smile New Tailpiece for the 'bird

Custom airbrushed by my friend Steve Hefleng. The shape of the flaming bird was designed by yours truly, but Steve did the painting magic. I wanted to keep the black plastic so the panel would not stick out, so Steve sanded the old factory logos off and then cleared the panel after the bird was airbrushed on. The photo doesn't show it, but there are pearl paints in the design. As a result, the flames sparkle in sunlight. His choice of colors were perfect as they go with my Pewter Metallic exterior color. You can't even tell that the old logo was even there, and the gloss of the clear matches the taillights perfectly. Too bad I can't see it while driving the car

What do you guys and gals think?????

I didn't paint it, so I haven't a clue what was used.

It looks lopsided. Naa just kiddin'

Awesome idea, definitly one of a kind.

I would have to put it up there with 98 snake eaters color changing screaming chicken.

But your idea is definitly pimp

Hey looks great! Just wondering though if it is possible to fill in that center section, where the key hole is. I never use mine, and if you dont, then why have it? Is there a way to fill it in?

I thought of that myself after the fact. The paint would have hidden it perfectly too, plus it could have been centered on the panel a little more. Still though I think I'd want the lock there as a back up.
