ls1 style injector in ls7 style intake?
I have a 408 with etp small bore ls7 heads on a 6.0 liter ls1 motor. I have a ls7 style fast 102 with ls7 fast rails. I have a set of ls1 style racetronix 42lbers.
I have the adapter o rings already but did not realize the rails sit much higher than they would with ls7 style injectors being much shorter and they don't conect to my intake with the hardware that came with it. What is my best option. Adding some spacers? If so, will the injector not sitting flush with the manifold affect the spray?
buying ls7 injectors and then harness adapter? This would be the priciest but if it's the only way to make it right it might be worth it.
I know someone else out here has done this...I've researched but haven't found anything that has a concrete answer.

I figured out the issue. My injector is a fat bottom. I will have to shave a bit of the upper shell for it to fit. Instead I'll just sell my injectors and buy a set of ls7 that I know will fit.
so if you know anyone interested...I now have a set of 42lb racetronix for sell along with fast ls1 fuel rails.

No, you can not use OEM LS1 rails on the FAST 102 intakes.
Go use this, its a super handy tool FAST made. It will answer all your questions & give you footnotes.
