Default 501rwhp & 474rwtq from 6.0 block topped with LS3

A 2007 car with LS2 block with LS3 heads with the following:
  1. LS2 6.0 Liter Aluminum block.
  2. LS3 Intake Manifold ported.
  3. TB 92mm.
  4. LS3 Cylinder Heads (None ported, however it is polished).
  5. Kooks headers.
  6. Magnaflow cat back.
  7. Upgraged push rods.
  8. OME fuel pump.
  9. Cold Air Intake.
  10. Custom Cam.
  11. Catch Can & Breather.
The car made 501 rwhp and 474 rwtq with proper tunning on A4 transmisstion. I wish to know more of the detailed combination!!!

I wish to know

I saw it in the local thread in the middle east with a link in the facebook

about the camshaft, it is a costum but he didn't provide detailed about the specification.

As about the torque convertor, where I have no information about it

I will try to find more information if avilabe in the facebook

Thanks

I think I'll start a Facebook page and claim 900HP/750T with a 346 with stock heads and normally aspirated. Facebook is a great place for tech info.

Make sure you take a picture of yourself flexing your muscles in front of your car

Sounds as though you are dismissing this as being true.

Just because you spent 40k, doesn't mean someone cant do it cheaper.

Just sayin.

Firstly, I didn't spend 40k. Secondly, the numbers appear to be inflated but that could just be a very happy dyno. The ratio of HP to torque ratio is way out of wack. It puts all the numbers in doubt. The FB page seems to have vanished.

Just sayin.

Those numbers are possible with a tight convertor and the smaller cubes making less torque. i can't see the graph at work so only guessing. We are making similar numbers with a combo like that. Our heads have been ported and it has a decent sized cam.

I beleive the custom spec cam should be something like 227/239 with 114 LSA

The hp numbers could be right but the torque you mentioned is almost impossible to achieve with a 6.0 engine and A4 transmission.

Even Patrick G couldn't reach that level of torque with AFR 230 heads.
By the way Patrick G's car have similar engine of the Caprice and Lumina SS.
