Default Which TB?

Does anybody have a recommendation to which Throttle Body i should buy? I am still stumped. I'd like to know how satisfied you are with your TB. I've also considered porting mine. Whats up with the BBK 80mm TB for an LS1, I thought the biggest you should go is 75mm? Thanks for any input.

just get your stock TB polished

There is a guy in Plano I think named Shaner who does a good job.

Do a search for him on google

You can't go wrong with the Jantzer, Baur, Shaner (all ported stockers), or the MTI billet TB.

Anybody else happy with your TB. I'm still looking for opinions to which is better and why. Any comments on ported stock TB's or aftermarket TB's would help me make my decision.

I failed to mention that I got a Jantzer a coulpe weeks ago and am very happy with the quality and the Seat Of The Pants gain (feels like I picked up 10 ponies).

Once I get some money together and am able to put the car up for a bit, I'm going to get Jantzer to di mine as well. Heard alot of good things about his work.

Bauer and Shaner do great work and happen to be very reasonable in price. With Bauer you can have it powercoated also for a nominal cost.
