Default Needs help to find a Good Cam??

its a 98 Pontiac t/a auto bone stock right now i have ls6 ported heads im going wit the 3.42 gears,3800 stall, pacesetters all waiting to get installed but i want to kno what cam what be a good fit wit drive ability but still gonna put out alot of horse power.i was thinking V2 cam what do yall think???

best thing to do is call up texas speed and tell them you setup and your long term HP goals, they will direct you to the BEST cam

if u want my opinion I'd go with a 228R cam, lopey, yet smooth, with a good power band, yet DD'able.

of u can do damage with a sleeper cam

Yea I'm looking to hit the 400+ hp prob more like 450 but yea ill call them up thanks

Call Texas-Speed AND Thunder Racing then weigh your options from there...I have the RapTR cam from thunder racing and its a great cam, pretty big and sounds awesome. Dont worry about driveability so much as its more in the tune.

Leanpocket u don't think the ls6 heads are good enough to help get to 400+ hp?

They are, I have ported 853s (stock LS1 heads) and my car makes well over 400....
