Yes there is a factory cooler, its in your radiator. I run a stand alone Tru-cool cooler #4490. I got mine from http://www.makcotransmissionparts.com/tru-cool-lpd.html.

You basically have a tube/fin and a plate. A tube and fin lets the fluid travel faster (meaning cooled less) with less restriction and its the cheaper of the two. A plate cooler slows the fluid down so it can be cooled more, slightly bulkier, and slightly more expensive.

i actually used a power steering cooler designed for frame mounting on dump trucks/box trucks/etc. its like 3" by 20" i dont remember who made it but should be easy to find online and pretty cheap
