2001 WS6 vs 1999 SS and Foxbody *VIDEOS*
Edit*: Learned Mustang actually had a 351 in it.
So after a little meet I put together on Friday, a few of us headed out to Mexico for some runs.
My car is a 2001 WS6 M6 with:
Lid/LT's/ORY/Catback/Un-tuned
First runs were with a Full Bolt-On and Tune 1999 Camaro SS M6 (SSmokin99). In both runs I had a passenger and he didn't. Shifting to 4th wasn't up to standard becuase my clutch is going out, that will be changing soon though. Looking back it looks like I was sleeping on the honks too lol.
Race 1 - 45mph

Race 2 - 45mph

Good runs, and we want a rematch with even passengers. That was cool AJ!
Second runs were with an older Foxbody. I was told it had a H/C 351, and was making in the high 300's for whp. He had a cage and DR's as well and it was a manual. Again, I had 1 passenger and he didn't have one.
Race 1 - 30mph
We both missed 4th and shortly after getting into gear I let off.

Race 2 - 45mph
For some reason he didn't get next to me and started about a car behind, maybe he didn't want to speed up?

Going in nobody knew what the outcome would be, it was his first time out running the new setup. He definitely pulled me cleanly, and I have respect for the car. I'd like to try and get a rematch with even weight as well. He was a cool guy too.
Also ran for ***** and gig's my friends stock 2010 GTI from a dig . He used launch control. I knew it would be a slaughter but we were bored later on. I'll see if I can dig up the vid.
Overall I had a good night. This has given me more incentive to get my clutch in faster, so I can actually shift up to potential!
Thanks for looking.

Yea those were good close runs AJ I had a good time. We for sure need a meet like that every week or 2.
And Drew, it was pretty quick I guess lol. Did he say it was gonna be faster or something?

Good videos, and two good running cars. I saw this over on svtp. The video was good as well. As far as some people worrying about the fox, a true high 300's na fox should be a seriously low 11 sec car all motor. The fox you raced ran healthy to beat a bolt on ls1.

OP..That was some basass racing man!! Nice. I loved it..
Check out race #2 (WS6 vs SS) again and listen to the exhaust!! Wild. I love that sound in between shifts..It reminded me of Steve McQueen in Bullitt when he was being chased by the Charger...
The WS6 and the SS were kickin rides man! Sometimes I miss my Z28..
By the way..why do you have those bolt-ons with no tune??? I would have to say that you are not getting the most out of your mods!! Get a tune on that bitch!!
