I have a friend with a 97 ss that uses a ram hdx which is a step up from stock and he likes it. His car is a daily driver. The pedal is quite a bit stiffer though.

We get too many calls per day from guys having problems with RAM Clutches for me to suggest them. I like the SPEC stuff for LT1 cars:

Stage 1: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...3A-505%29.html

Stage 2: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...3A-600%29.html

We offer Centerforce, McLeod, etc as well here: http://www.tickperformance.com/categ...e/Clutch-Kits/

Thanks for the Rec Joey.

Neil, I think you would be fine with one of our Stage 1 or 2 kits. Both are great for street use and either can handle bolt-ons without an issue. Generally, in similar driving situations and used in cars with similar power, the Stage 2 will be a bit more durable due to its Kevlar lined disc. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to help you. Thanks!!
