Default Replacing Seat Covers Question

I'm replacing the seat covers in my Camaro with some nice replacement seat covers that I got from Hawk's Third Gen. I've already pulled the seats out of the car and started pulling the original seat covers off, but I'm stuck on something. How do I remove the plastic lever on the back of the seat that tilts the seat forward? I see a small hole on the side of the plastic piece, but it doesn't look like there is a screw holding the plastic piece on. Figured I'd ask before I broke it.

Ok, I figured out that plastic piece doesn't come off. You have to push it through the hole that is cut in the seat cover.

LMAO.... This!

It's really just two strips of plastic that're folded into eachother. Get behind the seat, tilt it forward, reach to to bottom and twist the back piece down.

I totally unassembled my seats - so if your covers are anything like mine, you shouldn't be pulling anything through anything...

Post a picture. That will help!

Thanks for the help. I didn't mess anything up on the passenger's seat doing it my way, but I'll pull it off on the driver's seat. I didn't want to go pulling on it and break the piece. I've had bad luck breaking plastic parts in the past.

Anyway, it's not a hard plastic that they used. It's almost like a rubbery plastic, and highly doubtful it'll break. All I had to do was grab the end nearest me, use some force, and twist it clockwise.

Since you have on off, just hold it and look how it connects. You'll understand what I mean. It creates a J-Channel.
What the hell are you talking about? The OP is talking about the plastic piece you lift to tilt the seat forward.
