i love the stock headlights over halos because the stocks put out so much more light. i was thinking about the whistler mod, but idk if it will put out as much light as the normal stocks. how do your whistlers compare to stock on light output? thanks!

I have 6k hids, I didnt paint the reflectors and my hi-beams are oem...that being said my visibility is about the same i dont notice any difference just no more chrome!

theres a really good write up on cardomain.com can't remember the name but a google search pulls it up!

AND MORE PICS WILL BE UP SOON!

i think its whistlers cardomain page, that is the one i used , yeah it looks good man, i love mine and i think they look way better than any aftermarket headlight out there,i painted behind my highbeams as well since i never use them and i really like how they came out, dont do that if you use them though because it will kill the light output

IDK what it is about this but I'm not following this post. What he did is correct for any more paint would reduce light output.

Yea, its just black instead of chrome. and 9WhiteCamaro9 youre right any other surfaces painted and light output would be non existent

I was wondering about the above post cause even a high gloss black wouldn't work cause I know some have tried it with failed results.

yeah you have to leave the reflective stuff ,if you paint that your lights will beyond suck, i did behind my highbeams and they dont work for crap anymore, but i knew this before i painted behind them,op get a slp grill and some blacked out blinkers and it will be perfect, i know crap takes time lol, check flea bay for blinkers, i would say vht them but honest its about the same price to just buy new ones and they will look better
