Well "perfect" for a new buyer would be a bolt-on match ( same color). These can also be a bit to ship, so if that enters into a deal , it could be a factor. I would say you should get $800 all day long.
BTW what color is it?

it is a perfect original paint hood coming off a 40,000 miles garage kept car. the whole car is perfect pewter with black interior. has 17 inch ws6 wheels with michelin tires. the only reason i may part the car is it has a built ls1 with procharger and 6 sp. and moser 12 bolt. i am thinking about using motor and trans in a 67 camaro project.

I would say 800-1k. Only because its perfect, and an OEM part. Aftermarket hoods run 500 and up plus shipping, and paint, and they usually don't fit right.

Original Poster: Site rules dictate that you must have either 6 months membership and/or 50 worthwhile posts before posting items for sale.

To everyone else: Since the original poster can not yet post items for sale, this is not a classifieds thread. If you wish to purchase items from the original poster, you must contact them privately.

I will leave the thread alone as long as it doesn't involve any sales transactions.

Sell it for a roller. Though you might not make as much $ ?

I agree it would be a waste to part out.

Heck I have a spare eng and trans I could stuff in it, LOL...
