today I picked up my 01 ss from bobby at cls. Had him put a bigger fuel pump in there and some retuning. While on the way home a black 08 srt10 viper pulled up next to me, so I gave him some pipe. We pulled up to the light and when it turned green we went for it. Both of us spinning off the line I backed off until I caught "traction" started pulling from him. I pull 3 cars from him through third gear. Was very impressed how she ran. Thanks bobby! Sorry guys no video's. Hopefully I'm off next Friday to do some fun runs. I finally get to come out an play

He has an HKE 408 motor with supporting mods. It took some detective work on my part but here are the specs of the motor he purchased from another ls1tech member earlier this year:

HKE 408ci iron block (6.0L)
-Wiesco Pistons
-Eagle Rods
-Eagle Crank
-TEA 5.3 stg 1.5 ported/polished heads
-240/244 .605 .610 113+3 lsa cam
-Fast 92 intake
-Fast 92 throttle body
-42# greentop injectors
-85 mm z06 maf

Sorry I work nights last night, and some of us have lifespan outside of tech. Yeah its a 408 but a little different setup from before. But I know it takes a while to get all that motor turning. Surely he could of beat me in higher speeds plus we were on nasa in Seabrook.

Yep.... Thatll waste a 03-06 viper fo show... 408 i raced was only 480 rwhp.. Nice build and must be fun. Would love to hear an engine clip of idle and a few revs if you got the time
