New Track Results After H/C
Finally got out to the track after a long week of trying to put break-in miles on our new Heads and Cam setup. Texas Speed and Performance put together a great combo for us and we are real impressed with the results we got.
Setup: TSP/PP S2 LS6 race style heads and TSP 238/242 .605/.610 112+4 cam
1st pass we took it easy on the launch and made sure we made a clean pass:
1.580 - 60'
7.059 - 1/8
98.33 - mph
11.065 - 1/4
122.33 - mph
After that pass we noticed both ET drags had spun about an inch on the wheels. So we will definately be needing some rim screws pretty soon. Auto tap everything looked pretty good especially for just tuning on the dyno and not being able to spend alot of time on shift points.
last pass went all out:
1.488 - 60'
6.917 - 1/8
99.14 - mph
10.898 - 1/4
122.91 - mph
Once again tires were spinning on the rims, hurting 60' times.
All and all we are very pleased with the setup that Jason and Trevor were able to put together for us. They were very helpful and their Heads and Cam packages can put down some serious times. We think that once we can get some fine tuning on the track and work out a few little bugs (tires, shock settings, etc.) and get some good air, this is going to be one hard combo to beat

Congrats Lynda & Clint. Looks like the new setup is working great. I was hoping we could have a friendly little cam only grudge in the near future. I hope to be heads & cam by the time Thunder rolls back around. Untill then I guess I'll be bringing up the rear

Congrats Clint and Lynda. That car is flying now! Just wait until you get better air and the tuning dialed in. That's a scary thought.
10.8xs on a shake down run.....uuuuuhhh not to shabby in my book.
Looks like another deadly TSP combination
See ya'll at the SBSO.

Nice, I need to find a 6lb driver for my car
I'm loosing ~35rwhp with the PT4200 in my car (430 unlocked) so you are mking some good power.
BTW at 13-14psi with ET streets with only 1.62x 60's my tires have moved 180 degrees in 51 passes :/

The DA was +1700, so not great weather, we were running on 26x10-15 ET Drags @ 17 psi, and I weighed in after the 10.8 pass and it had me right around 3350, and that is what i needed for the SBSO so I was happy.
No lockup switch BTW
