Here's a pic of the C7 wearing C6 clothing.



Notice the longer wheelbase. The C7 is going to have a longer hood than the C6. It's going to have a similar axle to dash ratio to the Viper. Who doesn't love the looks of the Viper??? GM is going after the old Viper customers for sure.



What's up with the two dummy exhaust tips? Very odd. The C7 looks a little narrower too.

Also, it is confirmed that the C7 and the 6th Gen Camaro will get a 7 speed manual transmission.

The wheelbase will be a tiny bit longer, but that is just to reduce the nose/rear overhang some. The car is indeed supposed to be a little smaller than the current gen.

Whats funny is i dont think anyone has caught the fact that the Gran sport above is not the same car...one is Vert one is hard top. With that being said why do two different cars have the same paint and wheels? Highly doubt it just happens to be two different cars with the same set up...as the the guy posted states it very well could be a c7 wearing c6 body's.

Im other words looks to me like they put two different body's on the same chasis set up.

The gap between the front fender and the wheel looks to be off.....Maybe they are just using the grandsport body work to test the c7 drivetrain?

^^ wouldn't surprise me. a lot of times they'll change up the body and add different **** like those dummy exhaust tips to fool people who take these spy photos

All the OEMs test just like you said. New chassis / drivetrain / electrics / etc wrapped in old panels.

I wonder if the 7 spd is just a new tremec that will bolt up to c5 / c6s. Hmmmm....

I hope it looks more Viperish when its in C7 skin cause to me the Vette didnt really stand out, the upper ones like the GS/Z06/Zr1 looked better/meaner but still didnt look exotic enough for me (but I love to have one of those) So im on the edge of my seat waiting for the unveil on the C7
