Default Wire mod + sound system

For those who have done the wire mod and are also running power for an amplifier, where are you guys running the power with the fuse? I have mine ran along the passenger side of the car and through a grommet on the firewall. My question is, where are you running it to the battery if you have done the wire mod. I have it along the side of the engine bay but I just hate the look of the one with with the big fuse block.

So what are some other options?

You might try putting this in the stereo section, you might get some responses.

I would think the easiest way would be to relocate the battery to the back of the car. That should solve the problem depending on what your set up is.

i have two 4awg cables going to the back of the car and i ran those in basically the same path as the wire mod. the go in the inner fender out under the car to the drain plug in the backseat. My fuse boxes are mounted on the front of the shock tower, but i don't mind having those visible. They are Kicker fuse holders and i think they look pretty good, at least better than some of the other junk in the bay.

That's what I was thinking of doing as well. I didn't mind the look of the fuse block as well. Just trying to weigh out my options here. Thanks for the input.

My power wire runs the same route as the !wire mod, and the fuse is mounted close to the battery. You can see it in the pic below:

I wasn't sure where to put this since it has a combo of both appearance and stereo **** lol.

Meent, that's sweet! Does the other end snake around the front of fender then or does it go under ish if you know what I mean? Looks real nice though I might have to go ahead and do that. Where are you guys getting your loom from as well?

The wire at the other end takes an immediate turn down and goes into the wheel well approximately where the !wire mod wires were moved. You can kinda see it in this pic:

As for the loom, I got some high-temp stuff from WiringProducts.com - it is a little higher quality than what I have been able to find at the local auto parts stores.

Awesome. Looks like that is the route I will be going with. Your bay is super clean man. Props!
