number seem a little low for a 6 speed car through a 10 bolt, but it sounds like a fun DD.

The tuner said on a dynojet it would be 500-510. Before it had this cam, it had a much larger one and made 540rwhp on a dynojet. Decided to go with something less crazy

This most recent session it was at about 12.5k, so yes. However, the previous owner had it tuned when it was built and had a much larger cam. I'm assuming it didn't have many miles on it at that point.

I haven't, as i've only had it a week and a half. Previous owner had best time of 11.3 on the strip.

There are some details i'm not sure of, like the intake. I believe it is an ls6, but am not sure. It had a custom grind cam in it when i bought it (256/264 .609/.601 113) but it was WAY to big. I drive this thing daily and wanted something that makes good power but is actually streetable. As for the exhaust, the dual/dual does have a cutout just before the muffler. I've opened it a couple times, but there is no way i'm leaving that off for any period of time...it's insanely loud. I plan to get a different catback asap, most likely a magnaflow.

yea vindicator is a good cam for this setup. I would like to know what intake you have on the car as well. And also ihave been on md dynos and dyno jets. the mddyno seems to load the car more there for dropping the rpm peak. so mine on a dyno jet was 7200 then it would fall off. mustang dyno 6900 then fall off. so if you up grade the intake to a 102 i am sure you can gain a nice 8 to 10 hp if ported correctly across the graph. but your not doing bad with the setup you have.

Numbers are low. My 383 with afr 225 heads through a 5000 stall and moser 9" made 450 rwhp. Seems like more is left on the table.

Sounds like i may need to upgrade my intake. I have bought a true dual 3" xpipe + catback and plan to get rid of the dual/dual setup. Pretty sure that thing is robbing some power as well.

Any recommendations on where to check or what to do to increase these numbers? I know numbers aren't everything...but this seems really sub par.

Cut-Out! - Would gain probably 10rwhp or more.
Nitrous?

I don't think your Ported 90/90 intake is holding you back much. IMO
I run a 90/90 on my 408 and it is doing well.

There's nothing wrong with your intake. I have a ported Fast 90mm intake and TB on my 402ci and have gone 10.39@129mph in a full weight (3540lbs) 2002 Z28..

Exhaust is one thing but you should spec your combo to work together. I would get another custom cam speced for what you are looking to acheive.

exhaust needs work, a magnaflow or anything like that will hold you back. would go with that spintech with the big pipe from the y back or true duals.
