Default Just Finished Getting My Car Fully Tinted!

I got 35% on the whole windshield, 15% on the sides done earlier this week, and my car had 5-10% on the rear sense I have bought the car but whoever tinted it left the dot matrix untouched, so I just got black vinyl put on over them tonight (I will most likely take pictures of the rear tomorrow morning). When I got out of school today I noticed the interior wasn't near as hot as it was with 35% on the sides and no windshield tint. With sun pointing right at the car you can see in from the outside as long as my windows are down, but if they are up you can see in but its more difficult. Driving at night is no difference with or without the windshield tint(from the inside).

I took the pictures this morning and it was overcast this so it had more of a glare than usual.

Wow, beautiful. Im quite jealous as my silly state only allows 50% and we're not allowed to touch the windshield.

Looks great! I'd get pulled over in a heartbeat with that, though, here in PA.

I'm sure it's illegal in every state unless you have a doctors note. The cops aren't the problem here, it's the annual inspections that are getting more strict. Most inspectors used to over look it, but the state is coming down on the inspectors. That includes a fine and possible loss of their license. I understand them not wanting to lose their job over my tint.

To the OP: Looks great. I got away with it for a while, but it's not worth the hassle now.

In for pics of the rear dot matrix and hopefully a shot looking out day and night. I have really wanted to tint my windshield for awhile. Can't make up my mind if I should go 50% or 35%. I already have 20% on the sides and rear. I am just worried about the night driving. Cops in my area don't care, only state boys that are on the highways half way across the state. Most cops in my area have their own DD's tinted.

Thanks for the kind words! Alright, I took pictures of the dot matrix this morning and I will take some night pictures of the windshield tonight and post them. At night I can't tell the windshield is even tinted at all. Only thing you will notice difference at night is that oncomong lights won't be as bright.

Looks great, wish I could do that but TX requires the registration and inspection sticker to go on the windshield. We're only allowed to tint the top few inches.

Pull out the power window fuse from the fusebox next to the steering wheel. In Texas, you can pass inspection if your power windows don't work. Therefore, what they can't check, they can't inspect. I do it all the time and my inspector gets a laugh out of it.
