so i have a set of 35th anniversary wheels for a drag set, and on my car right now is a set of C5Z wheels that are getting in pretty rough shape. I painted the 35th anniversary wheels all black today at work and the thought of a red pinstripe around the lip sounded like a good idea and i pondered doing that color scheme to allllllll of the wheels. my car is all black with the red ss emblems, but I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the C5Z, or 35th anniversary wheels in all black with the red pinstripe. color of the car doesn't matter just want to get an idea.

i have seen a black c5 z06 with those style wheels.. they looked great.

ya, i got the idea from seeing a black civic si with black powdercoated wheels and the red pinstripe and it looked really good (hate to admit a civic looked good but oh well). The wheels are pitted really bad so I might just go ahead and do it, and then post up pictures to get a reaction. If its not liked, i'll just drop the pinstripe

the day i put them on..it looked bad.. i took them off except for one rim

I think it looks better on a red car, that red Camaro is b/a! Now that is well done. I currently have some chrome halo's, but will soon be going back to the black halo's I had on first, because I'm going back to black wheels! Halo's are the shiz.

they definitely looked better on the red than the black and i have a black ss....is the pinstripe just a tape on pin stripe or did u paint it on?
