As for mine im back on stock muffs...
The trans flared a little on the 3-4 shift. Didnt do it on the street. Just needs a lil more line pressure on the shift...easy fix.

Mine does the same thing. I have made only one pass at the track where I hot lapped, did not turn my engine off, ran my burn out and the 3-4 was good. On the street even after turning the engine off and accelerating from first gear I get a good quick 3-4 shift but at the track sloppy. Wouldn't think it's due to pressure if it shifts fine 100% of the time on the street but flares at the track.

Ive noticed that the 6l90's and the 6l80e's if they sit for some time 10min-1hr then go make a pass sometimes they will flare. Before your pass if you drive around the track and let the car shift 1-2 2-3 3-4 . Then make a pass there is no flare. I fixed mine with trans pressure and letting the car shift into 4th before running.
But as you know sometimes the new six speeds will do some weird ****! (thats my professional tuner opinion...lol)

I don't understand why just the 3-4. Wonder if changing Inertia factor to same as 2-3 or Interia adder table? My 3-4 stock table is zeroed out. Maybe Desired Output Torque Factor? 3-4 already has more upshift pressure than the 2-3. Then there is Adaptive and Oncoming pressures and more???

Not always easy to drive around at the track particularly when it's crowded. You said even after adjusting your pressure you have to let he car shift into 4th before running. Not sure how you achieve this in the staging lanes?

All A6 cars have the tapshift option correct?
Just tapshift up into 4th when driving around to the staging lanes. Like I said it need to sit for sometime for the flare to happen.
There is a huge thread on the hptuners forum about a g8 who had the same issue.

Yes, I have the paddle shift in my car. Driving to the staging lanes and tapping into 4th would be feasible but I'm not sure if it will work if you then shut the engine down. On the night when I got a good 3-4 that's basically what I did except I did not turn my engine off. I think next time after my burn out I'm going to try shifting into neutral. That's virtually the only thing different during my street testing. I know it's not burn out related because the one time I got a good shift I did a burn out.

I have read that thread on HPT but seems nobody has nailed down the problem yet.
