So i was reading alot of different threads and everybody that hates on the auto driver's cause its sooooo easy. Well yea its easy but there is some strategy needed other than d and punch. Everybody needs to experience a stock auto z-28 with the 2.73 rear end gear... if a roll race is from dig to 25 your starting around 1500ish too 3000 ish rpm. In my 02 1st gear ends at 49-52 ish mph. Then you have about every mustang( gt's, mach 1's cobras's) that try to race you at top of second between 43 to 50 mph.. So its my very bottom of second gear which feels like im pulling a trailer up a hill(and the powerband of there second gear) until 70 or so then it starts to!!!!! WTF !! other car is on there brakes thinking they have won so easily and find yourself asking lets do my roll!!! lets do my roll!! come onnn!!On the other hand i did have my way with a buddys 03 cobra at a 40 roll i got a real good hit or jump.. but at least it took him forever to reel me in with his granny shifting! 1st gear at 40mph 4500 rpmish pulls to a healthy second gear and then thirty mins later at 98-103 ish mph i finally see my third gear...(which never gets used on machs and gt's) ...... and he gets bye me and yup he gone.. The furthest ive gone in third was 148mph at 5800 rpm. moral of the story.. Get some dang 3.73's and stall for first mods on z28 with factory 2.73's. Enjoy the short clip.

lt1 was stout!!! atleast he didnt walk you, if he wouldnt shift like he has glass gear he probly would have pulled a slight bit more. good runs OP and you said u have stock gears? def a good run.

Yea run was done before any mods were done. Can't here my honks in the video probabaly why he didn't go on the third honk ha.. lt 1 def a beast

Yea for being supercharged I'm not to impressed .. when we supercharged a gm vehicle from the factory it massacred everything.. (zr1) . And people try to knock on pushrod v-8's being old technology .. they seem like there doing great to me.

Dude, had he started at the same time as you in the proper rpm range he would have easily left you by a few cars, be real. Not to mention the ford gt has been around for years running in the 10's at 130mph stock. The zr1 just did this recently.

No **** Sherlock .. stock z-28... Bolt on cobra... 100 rwhp difference. All i said was I'm not im not impressed with them from all The hype I get from talk.... People speak of them like there unbeatable around here. Not basing there performance off this race.... And don't claim stuff your not going to prove. Ford gt.

Yea you didnt see it but i got out and took a **** inbetween his shift.. idk if he was just not trying to hard but just enough to catch me or he was just that slow. The other videos were taken after he has had the cobra for awhile and better shifting.
