Default Can i use a stock ecu for timing control?

Will the stock computer(99f-body) allow my to run it with a carb?
I want to use the factory 99 f-body ecu on my carbed ls1.
I want to have the computer flashed with stright 32* timing( like a locked out Dist).Going to get HPT later, will sent it somewhere for now.
I was going to hook up;
Crank
Cam
Ing coils
Map (so i can log it)
IAT (so i can log)
Coolant(so i can log it)

I guess my question is what eles will need to be hooked up?
Dose the computer need to see inputs from say TPS, IAC.
Do the o2 sensors need to be there?

The question is... why? If you are going that far, it is crazy not to run fuel injection and take advantage of the tuneability that the whole package offers... but, yes it could be done.

I have tried the msd Box, They are JUNk!!!! Had two different boxes that were 20HP different on the dyno.
I class Race the car so i have to run a Carb. Noone else makes a ING system for the LS engines. I really want to run a Digtial 7 MSD (part # 7531) But cant figure out how to get around the Rules.
What sensors really need to be hooked up?
Can i run it with just the crank and cam sensor?
Thanks in advance
dave

Needs MAP, cam, crank, and TPS. They make kits to run an LS1 style TPS on a Holley.

Do you have a source for the carb-mounted TPS?
