Default Need help finding a power antenna for an 02 Firebird.

Does anyone know of a good site I can order one from? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

When I first got the car, the antenna wouldn't go down on it's own, so I just left it up. Someone broke it off and I haven't been able to find one since.

Are the GM dealers out of those too?? It seems more and more parts are not available from them anymore as the 10 year old 'availability' rule is now upon us.

If originality isn't an issue, the universal antennas aren't a bad option. I purchased one from Auto Zone several years ago to replace mine when it gave out.

Make sure the guy you bought it from didn't unplug the motor before you order one. I unplugged mine right after I got it(with it down though) as it was very annoying having the antenna go up and down every time I turned the key on; they really should have put a switch in for them.

Thanks for the help, guys. I'll check the motor and see if it's unplugged, but it seems like it went out.

As long as you turn the radio is off before you turn off your engin off the antenae will not go up. It only raises when you turn the radio or CD player on.
