Default '99 Z28 motor blew and need someone to swap new motor (San Fernando Valley)

I have a 99 Z28 with an LS1, and my motor decided to throw a rod last week. Is there anyone on this board in the San Fernando Valley (I'm located in Granada Hills/Porter Ranch area) that can swap a working LS1 motor for a reasonable price for me? I was quoted $3500 for a motor and labor, but i just can't afford that after spending a lot to get the transmission replaced. I'm without a car right now, so the sooner we can make this happen the better. Hopefully the LS1 community can come through and help a fellow enthusiast out.

No, haven't purchased a motor yet, but have found a couple options. If you any suggestions about good places to find a motor, or if someone is selling one locally, I'd definitely look into it.

Total cost is $2500 installed for a used takeout LS1 longblock. (Parts/labor/fluids etc)
