Default e30 5.3/cts-v tranny clutch problems

my setup is a 1989 bmw 325is with a 5.3 and a cts-v t56... i bought a ls1 clutch setup with the same slave cylinder out of a fbody... i bleed everything and i have no pedal... from what i read.. you can use the same slave as the one that you get the clutch with with out using a spacer...

do i have to use an ls7 slave cylinder... or do i have to use a spacer???

thanks for any help

Try bleeding again. Are you sure the MC is good? Are you sure the slave is good?

Well all the parts are good.. I did some research and looks like I need a spacer to get the slave to contact the clutch fingers. Would anybody know the exact thickness the spacer needs to be.
