do not get the holley manifold... its a nightmare waiting to happen if you do.

LS6 intake will be great for your car... but u lose the EGR.

If your in absolute need of an intake then go with the GM composite LS6. I still can't believe companies like Weiand and Holley got you people suckered into believing that your going to go faster with an alumium intake . You will go slower w/ an aluminum intake. Thats a fact and nowhere near opinion. One of the performance points of the LS1/LS6 engines is the composite intake and this very apparent at the track. Use their engineering and not Holleys. The only reason you will go slower is HEAT. The Holley will become extremely HOT. Even during driving it stays HOT. Heats the air and you go slower. Never with the LS1/6 intake. Its stays COOL and the charge stays cool all the way to the head. Now that's cool.

LS6

Holley

the problem started with the Map sensor, which is in back of the intake manifold. called the dealer they only sell the sensor with the manifold. went to wrecking yards and junk yards auto parts, they all told me the same thing they'll only sell me the manifold wit the sensor. So im just gonna upgrde my manifold for $360, 2001-2004 LS1/LS6 GM MANIFOLD, it comes with all the gaskets, the MAP SENSOR , and intake manifold gasket which i bought from GM, get my money returned for that $55.Got the manifold from GMPARTSDIRECT.COM

Get the ls6. Only advantage to the holley is if you go with direct port nitrous
