Did you make that bracket or buy it some place?

Nice job Al!. Yeah I was going to ask about the mounting bracket too. Is the black bracket that wraps around the can made of metal?

KingJames, I made it, I have a mig welder but I'm not set up for aluminum welding so I had a welding shop weld the two peices together. Ground down the welds, sanded and polished it some.

Hi Wayne, Thanks,Accurate Works includes the band with the catch can and it' made of aluminum.

Wayne, I have enough aluminum stock ( I might buy more if there's any interest ) to make three more, if you want one let me know.

TKGN1, Thanks, this might be the way to go for the Vette people.

Please everyone, do not post contact info or sales/pricing information on this catch can. I have PM'd a member here to have the manufacturer email me about becoming a site sponsor, to sell these legit on this site.

Thanks.

BTW, nice mounting job Dark Age!

Oil catch cans have been used to trap oil that might be drawn into the PCV line to the intake, do a serach and you'll find more info then you know what to do with.

Dark Age 53,

Is that mounted to an existing Threaded Hole in the head? Do you have any more of those Brackets?

Thanks,

Very cool indeed. I tried designing something like that but ran out of time and patience, so I just zip tied the can to the AC condenser bracket. Ghetto rigged yes, but still functional...
