headers are great...... most people find that the Loud Mouth is too loud and raspy if you are doing more than bolt on mods... get a quieter cat back if ur planing head & cam or a blower

Check my youtube channel in my signature. I have videos with this setup with their LM2 catback.

I have SLP-Loudmouth 1 cat-back on my LS1 Camaro. I kept the cats on, and I like the sound of it. Now when I get headers I plan on adding a muffler to it, since the SLP cat-back comes with only a resonator, hence why it's so loud.

If you want headers and cat-back, don't get SLP cat-back...it'll be way too loud.

I ran the exact set up your looking at on my 06 A4. It was definately loud and the drone was miserable at hwy speeds. I also had a vig 3600 so in any kind of stop and go it was obnoxious as well. The long tube LM1 set up is awesome at WOT and at idle it sounds like a tractor. This a clip of my car at the track. The wife was filming that is the reason for the late start. Check out the exhaust section on ls1gto for more videos.

I've got lm1 for an '04 for sale in the classifieds. Sure it wouldn't take much to make it work with the '05-'06. I've actually considered cutting my bumper and running it out both sides.

For headers, go pacesetter. Good quality and cheap.

The headers are very good quality, but the mid-pipe slip fit design sucks.

It's not horrible but it definitely drones between 1500 and 1900 rpms. This happens to be between 60 and 70 in 6th and that's a common speed for me and the only time it ever bothers me. The exhaust sounds amazing all around other than the drone but it's worth it. Cruising at anything above 72 or so is pretty quiet.
