Default What Grade Oil With Nitrous ?

Does anyone recommend using a specific grade of oil when using a bottle? I just installed a TNT F2 kit jetted at 100 HP and it just so happens I'm due for some fresh oil. I normally use 10w30 Mobil 1. I was thinking something with more resistance to thermal break down would be better. I planned on going with Mobil 1 15w50. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

So does this mean the 10w30 will work? Or does no one have an opinion on this subject? The 15w50 is "designed to exceed the requirements of power adders" according to mobil 1. Check out this link

I can tell you what I run with a 150 shot, 10-40W red line. I know that's not what your asking, I don't have facts, i just know this works great for me.

Oil is not going to make a difference when you run nitrous. Just make sure your rings are in good shape, cause ANY oil in the combustion chamber will be imediate detonation with nitrous. Keep using whatever oil you usually run.

Oil "should not" matter but, I only use real synthetics (Amsoil, Red Line, Royal Purple, etc) Stay away from "blends".

Also the flash point of a synthetic is a bit higher As you can see here
