D1SC vs F1A
Looking at opinions for a street only car. I want to run about 12-13 lbs boost with my 347. I am just wondering is a D1 working hard enough at that boost level to create equal heat to a larger F1A? Just need opinions on what to run?

X2 what cjmatt said
I wouldn't worry about how much boost you want to run but more how much power you want to make.... The F1A flows higher there for will make more power with less boost

I too would go with the F-1A. The D-1SC has a 4.10/1 gear ratio, the F series has a 5.40/1. The F series ends up using a much larger blower pulley (more belt wrap) to make the same boost as what would be used on a D-1SC. Bob

For a street only car, I'm not sure you will be able to harness the power that an F1A puts down unless you're looking to have a highway racer. From a low mph, I think the D1 has plenty of power to roast most tires in first or second gear.
From what I've seen, the resale market for D1's is quite good as well.
Just my 0.02.

FWIW I just talked to Bob today and found out I can make my F1a a F1c for a great price! (yes I too have the sickness! LOL) needless to say I will be calling him tomarrow to get that started. Bottom line is you wont find a more reputible and trustworthy person on this site IMO and if he recommends an F1a for you thats what you should do.
