Default 2001 camaro vs 2010 mustang GT

I watched this race and talked to them after the race.

GT mods

C&L cold air
Steeda short throw
Pipes x-pipe
Pipes axle bad
SCT3 tuner
100 shot
Dynoed 392whp and 426wtq

Camaro mods

SLP lid
some type of short throw
Headers
off road y-pipe
borla muffler
spec stage 2 clutch
100 or 125 shot Can't remember.
dyno tune
Dynoed 407whp and 432wtq

This was a race that everyone was looking forward to.

They went from a dig and the mustang own everytime do the the camaro driver not getting traction at all.

40 roll the mustang pulled about 2 cars.

50 roll the mustang put buses on the camaro due to the camaro missing 4th

40 roll the camaro pulling about 4 cars do to the mustang missing 3rd and then getting it into gear. mustang way about 7 back and made up 3 cars for the 4 car lost.

40 roll the mustang won by 2-3 car.

The Guy in the mustang was a little better driver for sure.

The GT and the Camaro are good friends. The next race we will have on video's.

sounds like you had fun. Not expecting a bolton/tune LS1 to hang with a bolton/tune 5.0 though, regardless of what some people might say on here.

ALso, tell the camaro owner to go to, or post up the results from a REAL dyno. 407rwhp from lid/exhaust/tune is BS.

yeah he was wrong on his year, but he had to mean a 2011 because no way in hell a 2010 GT is gonna do that.

I would seriously be ROFL'ing if those rwhp numbers where with nitrous. As you know, N/A the LS1 should be in the 340rwhp range, 2011 with those mods should be in the 385-405rwhp range which is why I assumed he meant N/A numbers.

OP could take a course on writing coherently I think.

Stock 5.0s dyno around that number. Has to be a 3v

so an m6 car with headers and a 100/125 shot got yanked by said mustang? wtf? my buddy's m6 car with a k&n fipk setup and true duals on a 150 shot (99 car with stock intake, tb, gears, pulley, exhaust manifolds etc etc etc) went 11.49 @ 121. he added headers and trapped 126 on the same setup.

that is one slow *** ls1 car haha. nice kills for the stang, sounds like the slowmaro never had a chance.

they both had 100 shots.........

The camaro need a little better drive for sure but I dont think it would have help that much.

And the camaro dynoed 407whp on the 100 shot.

Some people arent reading the whole thing and just commenting. Nothing is mentioned about a 2011 and its mentioned for both that there running nitrous, its pretty accurate description as far as mods. 407rwhp for the camaro with the mods and 100 shot is a bit low to me but many factors can attribute to those numbers.

Numbers sound **** poor for the mods.

Good kills for the Mustang though, odds were against him.

Both cars have low numbers imo, but whatever, dynos are for tuning not bragging rights anyway.

Sounds like the LS1 driver needs to find an empty stretch of road and do some practicing! Should've been a back and forth race if both had equal drivers.
