Should I Stroke It? (383cid, you sickos)
Well, really my question is this: If I do stroke it to 383, what heads would everyone recommend to go along with? I don't want to spend $2k on a set of heads, more like $1500ish at the most. Ideas?

I got some PRC LS6 2.5 cnc on my 383/11:1 CR and it made 478whp and 424 wtq on a very conservative tune (12.6 AFR and 26 degree max )

NO. Use Trick flow. My boy has a 383ci 11.6 compression with trickflow 215 heads, had a stock fast 90,slp 1 3/4 headers ,stock centermount catback from his ss,12 bolt,4.11's,m6 car and a healthy cam. he procuced just over 500hp on the same dyno i go to and my 402ci was working hard to out pull him. He has up graded to kooks and a mammo ported 102 but no new numbers cuz his clutch went. when it cmes to heads, you get what you pay for.

I agree on the statement that u get what u pay for but dont overlook the trickflow as cast 220's. They work very well an only put down maybe 8 less then the 215s for about your price range
