Alright fellas I took an LS6 block, crank, wiseco pistons and Manley rods to a well known shop to be machined and assem. That was almost a year ago, already paid for it all to be done. Im startin to get frustrated cuz I need it home time to finish it and get it in the car. Should I go up there and raise hell or what?

Man as soon as I paid they told me be done in 2 weeks n that was a year ago! Ive called them a few times to check in and thay tell me itl be done next week, itl be done next week for the last fn year..
You fucked up by paying in full.... they are too busy doing the paying jobs now... same thing happened to me when I paid in full for a paintjob on one of my cars a few years ago.. I waited 9 months for paint.... just over 3k and by the time i started threatening legal action, I got the car back with a rush job that looked like ****....

Yeah I would just show up and request a refund and your stuff. If they say they'll have it in a few days I would refuse because you don't want a rush job and not leave there w/o your ****.
A year is WAAAY beyond reasonable....

It's time to go get your stuff out of there...that is beyond BS.
If they quoted you 2 weeks, and it took more than a month I would have been already up there to get my stuff back and a refund.
Even if they get your car back in a week I would not accept it, they probably will rush the hell out of it just to get it done and you don't want that with a shortblock. Time to find a different engine builder.

my machine shop told me they could have a my block freshened up with new bearings and forged internals in about 1.5weeks. so ya, it shouldn't take you a year to get anything. unless ur buying a damn Ferrari.... thats bullshit dude
