Cam reccomendations for best power under the curve.
Like the title states. I am looking for a good cam that has great power under the curve. I am willing to sacrifice a couple on the top end if I can build up more power lower and throughout the power band.
Engine is a 98 LS1 M6 with 391 rear gears. Car has full exhaust system from headers all the way back. Planning on doing AI machined or something similar 243 heads, and FAST 92mm intake manifold and TB.
The car will be mainly a street car with 1-2 road course events a month.
Any recommendations?
thanks.

I would contact a couple places for specs. EPS, Thunder Racing, Texas Speed, Pat G (on here), Futral/Cam Motion, etc. Something in the low-mid 230s should be great.
My current cam is a 230/238 and would be right up your alley. My heads are just home ported ones and aren't up to par with AI work and the car still feels great. It makes more average power than the old smaller cam I ran (230/224 reverse split).
Just don't go too big.

If you want to keep your lift down to within LS6 spring ranges, COMP XR265HR.
