Default Opinions wanted on boost/power level capability for my shortblock

Hey guys, just trying to get some idea here. I bought the car with this motor in it and was setup for a small (up to 150 shot) and am switching over to turbo. I just picked up a KYTP kit and a GT4788 and unmilled 317's. With my TFS heads at 64cc, i was at 11.2cr and should be around 10:1cr now. May have the chambers opened slightly to get to 9.75:1cr.

Anway, here's the build sheet for my shortblock. LMK if theres any more info needed to give a better opinion and all are welcome. THANKS!!

6L iron block 402 with head and main studs, all ARP hardware.
Eagle 4.0 crank and Eagle 6.125" H beam rods
Diamond -10cc pistons
Total seal rings...4.010" + .005", 1.5mm AP Stainless top ring, 1.5mm Napier 2nd, 3mm oil

Would methanol/water injection compensate for that much compression

Component's all sound good but if it was built with the intention of a "small" shot then the rings may be gapped on the tight side. That is going to be the info you need before you push it.

with the comp i can do 10-12 lbs on the 93 oct i think, and 15 with a meth kit. anything more and i would go for at least 110.

no way to know what the rings are gapped at unfortunately. I spoke with one guy from texas speed (where the shortblock came from) and he thought 20 lbs boost wouldn't be an issue but wasn't sure if he meant that was the limit or if it could handle more with a good tune.

Your motor should realistically handle whatever amount of power you can get out of a pump gas and Meth tune that is reasonable and safe. 110 octane tune and high boost you will prob find out if those rings are tight.

i doubt i will ever go above 20psi because that "should" be enough to get me an 8.99 or better which is my ultimate goal with the car, just to say it can. my wants is just to be able to drive it to the track, adj the suspension and tire pressure, run a 9.5x or better and drive it home. So 15# should be more than enough to get me there i would think. Car hooks damn good right now so it's just about making more power i guess.

I wish i knew what the rings were gapped at! Thanks for the input!
