Thanks.
no problems gettiing off the old manifold.. what MODS do you have? are you planning on kooks exhaust system or only headers? i must admit that it sounds awsome, i just wish it was a tad louder and deeper but its a great sounding system

315's tires o btw get 3 point subframe connectors, slp lid, smpoth bellow, slp maf, poly roto umi lca, umi panhard bar and relocation kit. I just saved enough for kooks 1 7/8 longtubes and kooks off road true dual exhaust. I have a ms3 cam kit not installed and a shift kit not installed and a 3500 tci torque converter not installed. I bought the parts new all really cheap ran a 13 flat with just 315's and sfc

Ls6 heads, eps cam, ftp lid, 4.10 gears, fast intake and tb and an act clutch. If youve got a killer budget get the trans rebuilt and a 9in rear. Suspension packages from bmr are also top quality.

So the question is not where to start but where are you going to stop. Go with a good set of heads, AFR, Trickflow and add a fast intake then when the bottom end goes you will be set to swap cams and put in a stroker kit and then you will be set. Really though just about every sponsor puts together a good package. And that is what you should be looking for, having everything match is really the critical part.
As far as the drivetrain goes the ls7 clutch is a great piece, if you are going to launch on a sticky tire then upgrade the rear end.
Good luck

First question is what are you wanting to do with the car? Drag, daily driver, weekend toy, autocross...etc...
That will really define what mods you should do. Get subframe connectors no matter what..they don't have to be 3 point. A lid is a great cheap mod, skip the smooth bellows & maf. No gains, and the maf makes it a nightmare to tune sometimes. You really shouldn't go much further without knowing what you want to do with the car.

You can skip some of these since they provide no gains whatsoever.
